Geoff Call, with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), gave an evening lecture on how
the USFWS uniquely coordinates with diverse stakeholders and landowners to conserve rare
plant habitats on the Cumberland Plateau. He provided insights into the strategic partnerships and innovative approaches that the USFWS conducts which are essential to preserving the Plateau's exceptional botanical diversity. In the afternoon, he engaged in a roundtable discussion with my Advanced Conservation Biology class.
