Professor Evans and Herbarium Fellow Sidnee Everhart C'21 were interviewed today by Steve Hall (shown in picture), the producer of the Public Television show, "Tennessee's Wild Side." Program was about the moon trees in Tennessee and will be aired in October. These are trees that were grown from seeds carried on the Apollo 14 mission. Sewanee has a sycamore tree growing next to Spencer Hall that is one of these "moon trees." Steve Hall asked questions in the interview about plant awareness on our campus and the clonal plant research we are conducting. Also interviewed was Cade Sterling C'22, Biochemistry major working with Dr. Palagi and Dr. Evans on the Sassafras project.
