Cade Sterling is our newest Herbarium Fellow. Cade is a Biochemistry major and has been the student leader on the Sassafras spatial population genetics project that Jason Palagi and I started last summer. We are fortunate that Cade was able wrap up most of his lab work on this project over spring break before the campus was closed to students in response to the COVID crisis. Cade will be presenting work for this project in the virtual Scholarship Sewanee at the end of April.
