JT Michel was awarded a Summer Field Botany Fellowship from the GardenClub of America. This competitive award is funding JT to work in my lab this summer and with my colleague Ashley Morris at Furman University to further our collaborative study on morphotype differentiation in Phacelia bipinnatifida. Ashley and I have jointed funded a post-baccalaureate fellow in her lab, Skyler Fox, to assist with this project. JT and Skyler are working together to conduct the field work in Shakerag Hollow (see pic below) and to do the genetic analyses Ashley's lab.
