Myccorhizae Study at Franklin State Forest

Dr. Sarah McCarthy-Neumann and graduate student Maria Schutte sample soil as part of the long-term forest dynamics study at the Cross Creek Watershed in Franklin State Forest. This collaborative project between the Evans lab at Sewanee and Dr. McCarthy-Neumann's lab at TSU will examine the role that myccorhizae play in determining spatial patterns of tree species composition with in our plots.
